Inclusive Story Hike at Frick Environmental Center

LAMP/Library of Accessible Media for Pennsylvanians is partnering with Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy for a story hike at the Frick Environmental Center, 2005 Beechwood Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15217. We will be reading the book A Sky that Sings by Anita Sanchez and George Steele, followed by a short hike on Frick Parks’s Sensory Nature Trail paired with an exploration of tactile objects. A Sky That Sings follows Mia, who is blind, as she leads her aunt on a bird-listening journey through her local park.
