DESCRIPTION:Provides Free somatic mind-body movement classes that include: grounding\, self-regulation\, and explorative movement expressions through meditative breath\, and self-sensing. These sensory-friendly classes support ASD and Neurodiverse friends 16 and up\, and their caregivers who are also welcome to join\, if they choose. The classes take place on chairs or pillows on the floor. No shoes are needed\, just comfy clothes. Just sign-in at the front desk. The class is on the 3rd floor. SUMMARY:Adaptive Field Hockey
DESCRIPTION:Adaptive Field Hockey is an inclusive program serving athletes with disabilities of all genders\, ages 5–99\, and all disability types in the greater Pittsburgh area. Our 5-week season provides a welcoming environment where athletes can learn and enjoy field hockey with adaptive equipment\, individualized instruction\, and 1:1 support from local high school field hockey players and adult volunteers.
