SUMMARY:Adaptive Field Hockey
DESCRIPTION:Adaptive Field Hockey is an inclusive program serving athletes with disabilities of all genders\, ages 5–99\, and all disability types in the greater Pittsburgh area. Our 5-week season provides a welcoming environment where athletes can learn and enjoy field hockey with adaptive equipment\, individualized instruction\, and 1:1 support from local high school field hockey players and adult volunteers. DESCRIPTION:This conference will include a morning keynote speaker as well as an afternoon keynote speaker. Additionally\, there are 8 breakout sessions to pick and choose from. Attend all day or at your convenience or preference. Keynote addresses will be on emerging technology and inclusive programming. Session topics will cover specially designed instruction\, structured literacy\, trust and repair within IEP teams\, hands-on math tools and assistive technology\, instructional prompting and fading\, executive functioning\, connection in trauma informed classrooms\, and early childhood transition.
